There were no major rarities available during the rest of the Spring here on Guernsey - nothing to twitch, and nothing found. The two best sighting for me were a couple of Hobbies - one whizzing past me at Fort Doyle on 9th May and another chasing a Sanderling across the Vazon beach at Fort Hommet early morning on 26th May. The only other notable local patch record was a Bullfinch flying past Le Guet on 16th. On 27th May, we heard a drumming Great Spotted Woodpecker from the balcony at school, hammering on the dead tree just down the road, the first record for that site.

So that's all the news there is for May - I was a bit busy to get out in the field much tbh. I managed a walk round Moulin Huet on the last day of the month for a few invertebrate ticks.
